Though to be honest I thought Woshua was a bit out of place as a normal monster in the early zones too, and may have worked better as an encounter in the labs where there are more construct-like mechanical beings. An elephant-looking kangaroo thing with a 'sexy 3D jiggle' and who is 'good at art!' just stands out like a sore thumb. That was one of the parts of the 'get your thing in the game' tiers, you had to be flexible so that it would work as part of the world. Maybe not a miniboss like Muffet, but he wouldn't be so tucked away like that. I imagine if the person who used his own character was more flexible and suggested alternate forms, he could have had a more prominent part in the game. The furry OC does kinda stand out as just furry OC. To be fair, Muffet's design fits perfectly with the early mention of the spider bake sale, and manages to be a charming addition to the world like she actually belongs there.
